In this article, I want to share with you four simple strategies to get your audience to absolutely love you. Wouldn’t that be great? I’m about to share with you these four strategies, these simple strategies that I’ve used in my speaking business, and also my Master Coaches have used in their speaking business.
These four simple strategies can certainly help your business get to the next level. The first one is effect. Make sure that when you start your presentation, you get your audience to sit up and take notice. In those first 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, you really need to have effect on them, and that means getting them to sit up and take notice. The second one is to educate. Share with them what they may not already know. As speakers from the stage, we really want to deliver content. We really want to deliver value to the audience.
The third thing is to excite them. You want to inspire them. You want to share with them that there is hope. If they’re going through certain challenges, there is hope to come out the other side. The fourth simple strategy to include in your presentation is to encourage. This is where a lot of people miss this fourth step and forget in getting their audience to take action. What will motivate them to get up out of their chair and go and sign up to your program? What will it take for them to click on the link and enter their details to purchase your product?
They’re my four simple steps: effect, educate, excite and encourage. If you encompass these in your presentation, your audiences will absolutely love you, and they will work further with you in the future. I would love for you to come along to my Grow Your Speaking Biz Event where I delve deeper into these four areas and really show you where to encompass these four areas into your 90-minute presentation or your 10-minute presentation. There has to be a really smooth flow on how you move through these four simple strategies. I share this at my Grow Your Speaking Biz Event that’s being held on the Gold Coast in August. You can attend my live event virtually.
You’ll be able to go out the very next day and present for 90 minutes – without notes and without PowerPoint. I’m going to show you the strategies of how to implement not only these four simple strategies, but how to present them without having to have notes in front of you.
