Now, we often hear the saying, ‘Do the same old, same old, get the same results,’ and yet we also emphasize the importance of being consistent and persistent in your business—don’t give up too early. Address this today because many people say to me, ‘I don’t know whether to change or just keep at it.’ So, here’s what you need to do:

First, consider whether a change will be a short-term fix with longer consequences. Reflect on the short-term and long-term fixes, as well as the short-term and long-term consequences. Take some time to think about it before making a change for a short-term fix.

Secondly, do a three-step reset session. It’s a quick session that involves asking a lot of questions across different areas to arrive at a definite yes or a definite no.

Thirdly, ask yourself some amazing questions.

What would show up if you make the change? What would show up if you stay consistent? What else won’t I achieve if I make the change? What would I achieve if I made the change? Who would I never meet if I stay consistent?

Who would I meet if I make the change?

Dig deep into these questions to understand the results or the cost of making a change or being consistent. Once you start asking yourself amazing questions, you will have a clear answer. If you need help working through this strategy or would like to know more about my three-step reset session that our SMJ Master Coaches follow with themselves or their clients, reach out to me.

I usually utilize what I call my Breakthrough Session to walk you through all the areas to move you forward and build that compelling future, whether it’s about being consistent or making a change.
