Technology is all around us and you’d be silly enough not to take advantage of it. If you are currently running a business or is about to, building a website should be one of your topmost priorities. Why? The reasons are endless but let me name a few.
Hundreds of companies spend millions of dollars in making brochures and disseminating them to their target audience. But if you have an up and running website, you don’t need any of those because coupled with the right online marketing strategies your customers will be the ones to find you especially if you use social media platforms the right way. Having a website also gets you more customers. Billions of people are online every day; they use it for work but most of the time they use it for leisure, entertainment and shopping purposes. If you don’t have a website you’re going to miss out on a lot of potential customers. A website is also the perfect avenue to showcase what your business has to offer.
With that being said, I’m pretty sure I’ve shown why you need a website for your business. But building a website requires techniques. You don’t just build a website and expect people to buy from you. Today I want to share three very important things that you should include in your website.
A testimonial page on your website is very powerful and it can help your business draw in more customers. This is because people love to hear from other people and they want to know their feedback, experience and opinion about a particular company. People today are wary. Before they trust you they want to get to know you first and they can do that through testimonials. Sure you can brag about how good your product or service is all you want but customers won’t believe you if it comes from your own mouth. They want unbiased opinions and they can get that through testimonials.
In your website, make sure that you include an opt-in feature so people can opt-in to your database. I usually recommend you offer freebies that are of value to your clients. What I’ve learned in my years in business is the fact that when you give to your customers they will also make sure that they give back to you.
If you want to be a strong contender in the business world you need to see the importance of incorporating videos into your website. If you aren’t doing it then you are definitely behind the times. Don’t be a digital business owner who works behind the computer and answers customers through chat. Videos allow you to connect with them as a human. Remember, people buy from people and people crave human interaction and digital videos can do just that. If your clients see you on video and hear what you have to say they will like you, trust you and do business with you.
