No matter how long you are in business, if you don’t strategise you will find it difficult to see your sales improve. It is my belief that one of the best and surest ways to get more customers is to learn how to effectively communicate to them.

It goes without saying that your customers are the ones who bring life to your business. Without your customers there is no business. When no one makes a purchase from you, regardless if it’s a product or service, then it’s only a matter of time before your business closes down. No one wants this.

Every business owner I’ve come across share one thing in common, they all want their business to grow, expand and flourish. However, it needs some work to get from where you are to where you want to be and that’s why I am introducing the use of videos to you because after years of being in business, I see how effective doing video is. Business owners and entrepreneurs need to realise the importance of incorporating videos into their business plan.

There are three things that you need to remember when doing videos.

  1. Find A Subject

 You can’t make a video if you don’t know what you are going to talk about. So start by finding a good subject particularly a subject that your target audience will find interesting. A lot of people say they don’t know what to talk about and it’s normal to feel this way if this is your first time. What I want you to do is to brainstorm about possible topics that your audience might love and then start jotting them down and creating a schedule as to when you want that particular topic for your video released.

  1. Think About 3 Things You Want To Tell Them

 When creating a video, limit what you’re going to say to them. I usually recommend you talk about three things because if it goes beyond that your audience will get bored and it becomes too much for them to remember or worse, they won’t continue watching your video.

  1. End With A Call-To-Action

 After doing a quick recap to summarise what you’ve talked about, end your video with a call-to-action. This is the part where you tell people what you want them to do. You can finish off by saying visit my website or phone me or buy my product or opt into my video series; whatever action you think is best for your business.
